He is a former high school athlete with a background in football, wrestling, and track earning all-county recognition in football and state rankings for wrestling and track.
He had been employed as both a Corrections Officer and Firearms Range Officer prior to entering into the financial services industry, managing for both a national bank and credit union and now works for a financial services software company as an Application Quality Engineer.
Mr. Taggart has been a member of the Order of Isshin-Ryu Martial Arts since 1996 and currently holds the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Black Belt) in the organization. He has also served on the OIMA Board of Directors for over 10 years as Secretary and Treasurer as well as various OIMA event committees.
In his free time, he enjoys hunting, woodworking and knife making when not spending time with family and friends.
